If you’re using the TimePassages 3.0 iOS app and find yourself stuck in a loop when trying to reset your password, it may be because you haven’t created a TimePassages 3.0 account yet.
❓ Why This Happens
The Legacy version of the TimePassages app didn’t require an account to use Pro features. If you’re updating from the Legacy app to TimePassages 3.0, this may be your first time encountering the account system.
When you tap “Forgot Your Password” in the 3.0 app, the app tries to send a reset link to the email address you entered—but if there’s no account associated with that email, you won’t receive anything. The reset process will continue to loop without displaying an error message.
✅ How to Fix It
If you haven’t created an account yet, you’ll need to do so before you can log in or reset a password:
Open the TimePassages 3.0 app on your iPhone
Go to the Settings tab
Tap Your Account
Tap Create Account, and follow the prompts to set up a new account using any email and password you like
Once your account is created, you’ll be able to log in, access your features, and reset your password if needed in the future.
⚠️ Already Created an Account But Still Stuck?
If you’re certain you already created an account and you’re still being sent in a loop, you may have:
Used a different email address than the one you’re entering now
Signed up using Apple or Google login, rather than an email/password combo
Try using the Apple or Google login buttons from the login screen, or check if you have another email address that might be associated with your account.
